By sovereign grace I learned that I was sin,
By sovereign grace my soul was born again;
Now by faith I clearly see,
What Christ Jesus did for me,
Thankful clay in the sovereign Potter's hand.

I have never seen my Saviour face to face,
Nor known the half of His Amazing Grace;
But His Word I do believe,
That one day He'll come for me.
Waiting clay in the sovereign Potter's hand.

I'm waiting now my Saviour's face to see.
That One who died for sinners such as me;
Soon He's coming back again,
To take me from this world of sin,
Holy Clay by the sovereign Potter's hand.
