REWARD(s) or THE REWARD

Many Preachers and Teachers talk about Receiving Rewards. They state that you will receive rewards for Good Service that is done here on earth. But what does the Bible, GODS WORD, say about REWARDS?

II Timothy 4:14

"Alexander the coppersmith did he much EVIL; the Lord REWARD him according to his WORKS."

Reward for evil works is eternal damnation.

Luke 17:10

"So like wise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say we are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do."

Luke 18:30

"Receive many times as much in this age and in the age to come, ETERNAL LIFE."

Born again Believers reward is ETERNAL LIFE.

Job 41:11

"Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine."

Romans 11:35

"Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again."

Matthew 20:12

"Saying, the last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day."

Christians saved on the last day are equal to those who suffered long in their labors for the Lord.

Phil 2:13

"for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose."

Luke 18:28-30

"Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake. Whou shall not receive manifold more in this present time and in the world to come live everlasting."

Rev. 2:10

"Give you a CROWN OF LIFE."

1 Tim. 6:19 Lay up in store - ETERNAL LIFE.

2 Peter 3:10

Works that are there in shall be burned up.

Rewards for preaching?

1 Cor. 9:16

"For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is lain upon me."

Crowns at His feet - we give GOD all the credit.

Isaiah 28:5

"In THAT DAY the LORD of Hosts WILL BE A 'CROWN OF GLORY' and a diadem of beauty to the remnant of HIS people."

At Judgement day GOD WILL judge the unsaved, but HE will be a CROWN OF GLORY to the saved. The Crown of Glory IS NOT a special reward.

James 1:12

"Blessed is the man who endures temptation; For when he has been proved, HE WILL RECEIVE THE GROWN OF LIFE which the Lord has PROMISED TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM." Every believer loves the Lord, Every believer will receive the CROWN OF LIFE which is ETERNAL LIFE.

Timothy 4:8

"Finally, there is laid up for me the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Lord, The Righteous Judge, will give me on THAT DAY, and not only to me but also to ALL WHO HAVE LOVED HIS APPEARING."

2 Cor. 5:10

ROMANS 8:17

"AND IF CHILDREN, THEN HEIRS;
HEIRS OF GOD, AND JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST."

Joint Heirs will receive
ALL that Christ receives:
EVERYTHING!
