NO MORE REVELATION.

Jeremiah 29:8-9

"...you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you..."

Israel was not content with God's Gospel. They looked for something else. Mankind is no different today. They are looking for more revelation - Tongues.

Before the Bible was completed, God did bring revelations directly to individuals. But now the Bible is complete. We have ALL the Gospel.

Deuteronomy 13:1

"What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou SHALT NOT ADD THERETO, NOR DIMINISH FROM IT."

Man must not add or take away from the Word of God. Therefore, there will be no more revelation of prophecy (for example; the Book of Mormons).

Before the Bible was completed God did bring revelation directly to individuals. But when the Bible was completed then revelation stopped.

Rev. 22:18-19.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
